About me
Julie Haesche is an award-winning yoga and meditation teacher, reiki master, yoga therapist, nutrition counselor, health and life coach, and founder of Washington Wellness. With over 1,000 hours of training in yoga philosophy, asana, anatomy, pranayama, and meditation, she is a registered yoga teacher (RYT) and a member of the National Association for Yoga Therapists.
Julie's journey into the healing arts began when she discovered the transformative power of yoga and meditation while navigating her own personal challenges. Her passion for yoga and meditation grew as she continued to deepen her practice and pursued additional training and certifications.
In 2018, Julie completed her Reiki Master training with Libby Barnett at Kripalu, where she further honed her skills in energy healing. She also completed her Ayurvedic Nutrition Counseling training at Kripalu.
Julie's dedication to personal growth and development led her to complete her Life Coaching training with The Handel Group. She now runs private and small group coaching sessions, helping her clients achieve their personal and professional goals.
Julie's passion for yoga and wellness extends beyond her private practice. She works at The Frederick Gunn School, a co-educational independent college preparatory boarding school, where she teaches yoga to the students and faculty and works as a holistic executive function coach.
As the founder of Washington Wellness, Julie has created a welcoming community for individuals seeking to improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Her approach is holistic, emphasizing the importance of self-care, mindfulness, and connection.
Beyond her work in the healing arts, Julie is also an artist and animal lover. She lives on a farm with her partner, where they care for sheep, chickens, bees, and a rescue cat. Her benevolent spirit and commitment to helping others make her an inspiring and highly respected member of the wellness community.

Work with me individually.
I personally love to work one-on-one with folks. My methodology offers endless possibilities for transformation that can't always be taught in a group class setting.
I am currently accepting new students both in-person throughout Connecticut, and virtually through Zoom.
There isn't a one-size-fits-all model for life. Healing and self-care are no different.
