Yoga Therapy

Julie is a certified Yoga Therapist from Kripalu School of Yoga and a member of The National Association of Yoga Therapists. Her approach focuses on mental health challenges—such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and grief—neurological conditions—such as Parkinson's Disease, ALS, and Muscular Dystrophy—and auto-immune conditions—such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple sclerosis, Lupus, Hashimoto Thyroiditis—supporting clients in their journeys toward mental and emotional resilience.

 

Ayurvedic Nutrition + Health Coaching

As an Ayurvedic Nutrition Counselor, Julie guides clients in making informed dietary choices that enhance their well-being based on The Doshas. By combining her expertise in health coaching, Julie provides preventative health strategies for or clients seeking to improve conditions like high cholesterol, hypertension, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease, helping to improve overall health and fitness.

Reiki + Hypnotherapy

As a Reiki Master trained by Libby Barnett at Kripalu, Julie offers energy healing sessions, fostering a deeper connection between mind, body, and spirit. She incorporates hypnotherapy services to help clients address anxiety and stress, sleep disorders, chronic illness and pain, weight loss, behavior changes, and subconscious barriers to promote personal growth. 

Personal Training

A National Association of Sports Medicine-certified Personal Trainer, Julie specializes in Corrective Exercise and Injury Prevention. Her personal training emphasizes pain management and corrective exercise by identifying muscle imbalances and movement compensations. 

 

Yoga Nidra

Julie is a Yoga Nidra specialist who guides her clients into deep relaxation and restorative states of consciousness. Through this powerful meditative technique, she helps her clients reduce stress, improve sleep, and support emotional healing. Her sessions are tailored to create a calming, transformative experience for every individual.

Group Classes + Workshops

 

Join an in-person class or workshop at Julie's studio, Washington Wellness, or at one of the various farms, vineyards, or nature preserves around Litchfield County where she teaches regularly. Classes are available weekly with new workshops every month.

Private Sessions

Julie’s private sessions are personalized to meet your unique needs, offering a blend of therapeutic and experiential modalities. Her services include Yoga Therapy, Personal Training, Reiki, Hypnotherapy, Ayurvedic Nutrition Counseling, and Health Coaching.

She also hosts small private group classes and workshops for families, couples, friends, and retreats. Sessions can take place in her serene studio at Washington Wellness or in the comfort of your home, whether indoors or outdoors.

Julie also brings her expertise to businesses and schools, creating tailored wellness experiences for teams and communities.
